Worked collaboratively to slash the city tax rate by 33% and will continue lowering our tax rate.
Championing professional police, public works, and fire departments. Expanded our dedicated teams to 17 police officers and 32 firefighters.
Tackling the housing and valuation crisis to ensure every family has a decent place to live in our safe community. Secured over $200 million value in private investments for new local housing construction, continuing to attract new businesses to Cambridge.
Welcoming a new Veterans Administration clinic, Chipotle, and other small businesses under construction. Collaborated with local stakeholders, state legislators, and Congress to faithfully upgrade our trails, parks, library, and water treatment systems. Developing the Highway 95 Corridor of Commerce to anchor regional growth, and improving infrastructure to ensure storm waters stop flooding our downtown.
Attracted new businesses as well as re-investment in current businesses that meet the needs of our community. Maintaining Cambridge as a premier incubator for entrepreneurs to launch and expand their dreams. Working to draw destination retailers like Costco, Sam's Club, Scheels, or Cabela's to join our successful environment.
Maintained and improved our City Parks while creating more activities for our families and children. Working to build a new regional public park including a lakeside beach attraction.
